Terra ribelle is a TV series in 2010 and 2012 on Rai 1. The series follows the evolution of the intricate relationship between the two childhood friends Andrea and Iacopo, and two noble sisters decayed, Elena and Luisa, against the backdrop of intrigue and stories of common life of the Tuscan Maremma in the nineteenth century.The drama, produced by Rai Fiction and Albatross Entertainment, is composed of a total of 15 episodes of 100 minutes each, the first of which debuted Sunday, October 17, 2010 in prime time on Rai 1.On 21 October 2012, the fiction back in prime time on Rai 1, with the second season, set in the early '900, tell through the evolution of the love story of Andrea and Elena, the emigration of many Italians, especially Maremma, to South America.The project combines the director Cinzia TH Torrini and screenwriter Peter Exacoustos after the success of the series Elisa di Rivombrosa.

Twenty years ago, Shokichi Komachi was part of the Bugs 2 mission to Mars that discovered Terra Formars, human-cockroach hybrids that resulted from a terraforming accident. Shokichi was one of only two survivors. Now, the AE virus that came from Mars is raging wildly on earth. Shokichi boards the spacecraft Annex 1 to go back to Mars to find a sample in order to create a vaccine. They will face an unanticipated accident, a multinational conspiracy, and even more advanced Terra Formars.

In the year 2149, the world is dying. The planet is overdeveloped and overcrowded, with the majority of plant and animal life extinct. The future of mankind is in jeopardy, and its only hope for survival is in the distant past. An ordinary family goes on an extraordinary journey back in time to prehistoric Earth as a part of a massive expedition to save the human race.

Quite a few decades ago, the Italian immigrants in this movie came to live in the Venezuelan countryside. They have settled in a region dominated by a crusty local aristocrat, and over the years they have had many encounters with him. It is finally time to take stock of their successes and failures and to decide whether to remain in Venezuela or return to Italy. The immigrant family is headed by a strong-willed and very earthy woman, and her evolving relationship with the aristocrat determines the outcome of their deliberations.

With the space program attempting to travel to Mars, 21st century scientists were tasked with warming up the planet so that humans could survive on its surface. They came up with an efficient and cost effective plan of sending cockroaches and mold to the surface so that the mold would absorb the sunlight and the insect corpses would serve as a food source for the mold. It is now the year 2577 and the first manned ship to Mars has landed on the planet and the six crew members are ready for their mission. But what they find are giant mutated humanoid cockroaches with incredible physical strength. The crew members are easily wiped out, but not before sending a transmission back to Earth. Now, humanity will send elite warriors to exterminate the mutated bugs and claim back Mars.

Amateur travelogues by women in the 1920s-50s are woven into this meditation on the traveler’s gaze. A mountaineer, a divorcee on a tour of biblical gardens, an antique merchant and others are revealed through their own optical autobiographies.

Des mouvements de caméra filants semblent traquer une jeune fille métisse dans les hautes herbes. La voix off au présent s’agglomère au passé dans la myopie de la longue focale. La boucle sonore récurrente d’un homme criant « Terre ! Terre ! » convoque le lointain souvenir de la conquête coloniale. Mais la beauté du collage tient à l’impossibilité pour le spectateur de laisser « passer » ce passé : bientôt le témoignage actuel porte sur un maire qui s’est approprié par la menace les terres des indigènes. La jeune fille traquée en vient à personnifier un territoire. Nous sommes dans le sertão brésilien, où l’exclamation « há terra! » (littéralement : « il y a (de) la terre ») peut aussi s’entendre comme l’affirmation que les sans-terre, non-possédants organisés en Mouvement depuis une quarantaine d’années, n’ont pas lieu d’en être privés. Énigmatique et fiévreux, le film vibre aussi en images et en son du Manifeste anthropophage d’Oswald de Andrade (1928), autre inspiration d’Ana Vaz : « Anthropophagie.
